The hazard studies that we carry out can eliminate unacceptable risk from industrial processes.
We lead Hazard Studies on process plant systems. These are structured and systematic hazard identification studies of the process. The study iscarried out by a team. We lead the study team.
The product of the study is a very comprehensive hazard identification report with estimated event frequency rates, consequences and recommended improvements neatly documented.
HAZID and HAZOP are very common examples of hazard studies. Other types of hazard study include "what if?", FMEA (failure modes and effect analysis) and HAZCON (hazards of construction).
If your process is subject to a hazard study led by us then it is unlikely that any process risks will exist that have not been clearly identified.
The Image opposite shows a typical, simple, hazard study report. We can also carry out risk assesment within the hazard study and record severity, frequency and risk for each entry
